ABOUT ME

Hungarian born, Brisbane based cinematographer Peter Szilveszter has over 20 years of experience in the video and film industry. Peter's continual passion in creating narrative story through lighting and composition drives him use both his creative talents and technical expertise to produce the best visual outcome. After completing three years of study in film and television, he started his own production company "Living Lens" where he honed his skills in all aspects of video production and developed strong professional skills in working with both clients and other creatives. In 2014, Peter took on the roll of Director of Photography for the Australian bushranger feature film The Legend of Ben Hall, which has gone on to win several awards for its cinematography across the world. Since then he has shot the upcoming Adventure Horror feature film Fear Below, short films and documentaries and has worked extensively as a camera operator for several feature films, including the Netflix hit "Love is in the Air" starring Delta Goodrem. As part of his dedication to making a film as visually compelling as possible, Peter is also passionate about colour grading, leading him to grade his own work and several other feature and short films.
